LONDEKA, 29 ÅR

My name is Londeka Dlamini from South Africa. I am a very loving and outgoing young lady. I adapt easily in different environment. I love and enjoy being around children. Children are my favourite because I believe they are the most genuine beings on earth. My favourite sport is soccer/ football. I cannot play it but I know and understand it rules very well. I love and enjoy singing so much though I cannot sing to save my life. During my spare time I read, watch t.v. or go hiking with friends. I also go to parks a lot with my family and friends. I am the last born of 3. I am more close to my Mother, Brother and my 6 years old nephew. The reason I would love to be an au pair is because I love travelling. I love children so much I'd go miles just to be with them. Being an au pair would give me an opportunity to learn other cultures. I will get to make new friends around the world. My host kids will come to have a special place in my heart as I will become part of the family. This experience will give me a chance to learn something new about myself. It will be an experience I will live to tell. One I will never forget. I believe I will be the best au pair for the family because I have the ability to communicate openly and effectively. I am trustworthy. I can use common sense and I can live in kids world. I have experience in raising a new born. When my nephew was born my Sister had to go to stay in onother city for work and I had to step in as a nanny. I took a gap year after grade 12 just to take care of my nephew. I have volunteered at a local creche for over 6 months. I believe having me as an au pair would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for kids.
