BRUNA, 33 ÅR

My name is Bruna I’m 28 and I’m going to try to “briefly” describe myself on this letter so that you get to know me a bit better. I’m Brazilian but have been living in the USA as an au pair for the past 2 years and a half . It has been the most incredible experience Iever had. Unfortunally my au pair journey in the States is coming to an end and that’s why I’m looking for new opportunities in the same field.
I currently look after two kids Connor 7 yo and Emma 8yo, we are a real family here, the parents and kids make it easy to feel at home away from home .I have learned so much from them and their amazing personalities. We live on a very respectful atmosphere and that’s what I’m searching for in my next job. I like to feel comfortable while working, I like to have fun with the kids and it’s most likely to happen when we are all on the same page, same vibrations that’s to say sharing love, respect and kindness.

I graduated as a teacher, have a degree in Early Childhood Education, but before I had finished my gradution, I had had several experiences, including voluntareer work for the local hospital, some days a week when I’d spend my afternoons with the children in treatment. there was a kids área kind of a playground where we had fun, during my job routine I used to visit each child and invite them to the play room. Later on they would get back to beds. This expe8rience was very much gratifying.
I also developed activities at the church -I’m not religious but very spiritual though- in this case, we were a team that looked after the kids while the parents attended the Mass . We walked the kids through values and how to treat people the way you want to be treated.

When I finally finished my studies I found a good job in my field where I was an educational coordinator and I worked there for 3 years and grew a lot. Only resigned in order for me to live to USA as an ah pair. And that’s what I’ve been doing ever since. I really enjoy what I do, and I do with all my heart and soul. Most of my experineces were with different types and ages, I would say it has given me a lot of confidence and helped me improve my interpersonal skills because I learned how to manage all sort of personalities and diversties.
