VALERIA, 23 ÅR

Dear future host family, My name is Valeria, I am 21 years old. I am from Mexico, but I am currently living in Denmark with my mexican mother and danish stepdad. I have an 8 year old brother that I take care of since he was a baby. I also have three dogs that I like to play with and take for walks. At the moment I have paused my university career, which is Nanotechnology engineering, because the only subjects that I have left need to be in person and the pandemic does not allow that yet. I have always been told that I am a responsible, kind, mature, careful, sociable, happy and loving person. A few things that I can tell you about myself is that I love to play the piano and guitar, and I am a really good science/math teacher. I am really interested in learning new things and one of them that I would like to learn is Danish and its culture. I have taken care of children mainly between 2 and 16 years old, where I have helped them mainly with bathing, swimming, and serving food. I can easily cope up with tasks and people. I want to be an au pair because I like to care and spend time with children, and I also have patience for that. I think I could be a good au pair because I have worked with many children in my country with educational activities, which means that I can also contribute in extracurricular education.
