ANA, 24 ÅR

My name is Ana and I'm from Queretaro, México. I was born in Mexico but I also have Belgian nationality. I’m 18 and I live with 1 sister who's older than me and a brother who is younger, I get along very well with them. I'm very close to my family. I have two dogs and I love all kinds of animals (except insects).

When I was 13 I went to study abroad in Canada for a year. There I learned how to be very independent and also I came back to Mexico with an excellent level of English.

I love doing sports and being active. Right now I'm preparing my self to do a 80km race by bike. I love skiing although I've just done it once in my life (while I was abroad). I love to try new things but I also love not doing anything and just relax por a while.

I care about health and because I like to help people. I'm always taking care of my little brother if he gets hurt. I'm also a paramedic, I took a year and a half course and got may certification as medical emergencies technician a year ago. Since then I've been active as a paramedic teaching classes to younger students and helping the people who need first aid attention.

Right now I'm in my last year at school and when I finish I would like to go abroad again and work as an au pair while learning french. After that I would like to stay for 6 more moths and travel so I can get to know some of the places I would like to go before I enter college and I would also like to go for 3-4 week to an elephant sanctuary, I think elephants are the most beautiful animals and that thy represent strength and greatness.

I would like to study medicine in Mexico and then do a degree in neurology or embryology and work as a researcher.
