Hello! My name is Andrew(Kim Seohyeon). I am 21 years old and I prepare to study Music Teaching Education in here Denmark.

This is the Video which I take 2years ago. At that time I lived in Denmark as Aupair in Slagelse and Aarhus. There was really beautiful experience which I never feel.

From now on, I am preparing Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen as clarinet. I really want to live and study in Denmark.

What's that meaning? I am really like Danish culture and can live as like normal Danish people.

I have been studying steadily ever since. Like most of other Koreans, they moved quickly and lived busy lives.
I stay in Denmark as a working holiday visa. I like the European lifestyle, food, culture and people. Also, I feel very happy about spending time with children and teaching them something. For these two revenge reasons, I make this Au-fair profile.
I have many experience with children(between 4-17) in Korea and Philippines. Like Developmental disorder of developmental disorder, local children centers, nurseries, church, study rooms and multicultural centers. All of children like to communicated with me and also like to play with me. Especially in Philippines, I am not good at Filipino language(Tagalog), but I took care of them with the heart and the heartfelt deeds of mind and instilled them in them. This experience led to a new challenge in European countries as an Au-fair.
Now I am ready to be a family member with you as Au-fair. A member of a true family who travels together, views markets, and sometimes clashes with opinions.

MY FAMILY
Our family consists of 4 members. Father, Mother, Younger sister and me. Father is a banker, Mom doesn’t work outside. She just stay in home with us. And my younger sister is 13 years old. She is studying in middle school. Although there are some petty squabbles and conflicts in our family, we usually get along amicably.

WHO AM I
I am 19years Youth who want to study here Denmark. I am active and I like to approach everybody first.I like to learn the culture of other countries and make foreign friends.I hope to live a life with a leisurely and optimistic mind. However, it is true that does not behave well.
I like to play music. I can play piano, clarinet, drum, saxophone and ocarina. And also like to see the musical, opera and classic music concert. I like all kind of music. I feel that makes me happy and relax. I want to tell and teach this to children too.
And also I like Volunteering. Every weekend I am volunteering near my space. I spend many time with student and children in local children centers, nurseries, church, study rooms and multicultural centers. I play with them, teach them a languages, music and homework. Especially every February, I have been Philippines as a volunteer work. I helped to restore villages in countryside and helped restore villages that were destroyed by flooding, and taught children to study in a school that was temporarily founded. I am not really good at English, but I took care of them with the heart and the heartfelt deeds of mind and instilled them in them.

Now I live in Aarhus from Oct.

EXPERIENCE ABROAD
Country : Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Europe(UK, France, Spain, Italy, Swiss, Vatican), and UAE
Philippines : I have been Philippines 6th time as a volunteer work.
Europe : Backpacking with my mom. This experience, I see the many European culture and people’s life. That experience made me want to live in Europe.
China : A school affiliation school visits as school representatives.
Denmark : One month experience in here Denmark. Working as Driver in small company now.

EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN
I do many volunteering and teaching children in Korea. From middle school 2nd grade, I did YHY program. YHY means Youth Helping Youth, campaign in Korea. Which for youth. I was a first captain of the program, and I get Best YHY Student prize 3times, as helping other youth(Like helping study, teaching Korean language for multicultural student in Daegu, I created music therapy classes for disabled children, creating programs for them and conducting classes for them.)
And also I teach clarinet and piano to local children center’s children.
These experience make me happy to have time with children, and make me to try Au-Pair abroad.
Ps) I have time with my cousins 4, 6years for 1 years like an Au-Pair.
And from Sep19-Oct 10 I live in Slagelse as DemiPair. I already have time with children and pick them to Childcare, school.

MY HOBBIES
Firstly I like Music. Before I said, I like to play many musical instruments and like to listen music.
My favorite sport is baseball. And I also like basketball and soccer. I am not good at that sports but just like.
And I like riding a bike. Everyday I move my spot by bike.

<Why you would like to work as an au pair?(Explain why you wish to become an au pair abroad to take care of children.)>
1. I want to have time with European family for a long time.
I like to make friends abroad. But this time I want to make a real family, like my family in Korea. I want to have time with children like as a parents or brother of them. And also want to live in house with family and do works, go travel like real European people.

2. I would like to spend a fruitful time while working with a working holiday.
Many jobs are in country. But I think Au-Pair is best work for me with my hobby and positive things.

3. Learn Language better
I can speak English and Korean. But English is not perfect. Just I can communicated with people and use when I am in common day. I thinks with Au-Pair, I can speak English well and also I can learn the other European language like Danish, German and Swedish.

4. Earn Money
This is last purpose of Au-pair. I want to earn money because after Au-Pair program, I want to tour around the world. And also I need to earn money for my study in University. Now I am looking for some University for my future study in here Denmark. In here, non EU citizens have to pay too much money. That’s why I need money. I have future dream.

And I have many other reason like I want to play with children. But I think I wrote already on top.
