FRIENDLY,WARM-HEARTED, GOOD-LEARNER,OPTIMISTIC
I'm Vita from China.
I appreciate a detailed introduction, including my family background, my voluntary experience, and the momentum to be an au pair.
I live in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province, China, which is a small city near Shanghai. Due to the one-child policy, I'm the single child, but grow up with my cousins, so my childhood is accompany with joy. One of my cousin, a younger sister, is 4-year-old younger than me, we are more like friends. Maybe that is why I do not treat kids as a person who really needs help, which means an incapacitated person, but a companion. 'Fortunate people have their whole life protected and healed by their childhood, unfortunate people have to have their whole life protected and healing from their childhood. ' said by Alfred Adler, an Austrian psychologist. I think I'm the lucky one who is loved by family, friends and kids that first meet me.
In 2017, I've been to India to do voluntary work in Mother Teresa House when i was a junior. The momentum that pushes me to India is Mother Teresa. Once I read her autobiography, I was attracted by her spirit, selfless. I want to know more about her and get closer to the place that she served.️ What's more, the most adorable place I've been to is Kashgar, a city in Xinjiang province, China. It's full of lovely kids, and I can strongly feel what the energy and vitality is. Wherever I go, I am surrounded by children. I think the warmest time is around with kids, and they can cure us, lead us to a more innocent way. Don't worry about if I can handle kids, no kids will dislike me(lol), because I never regard them as a trouble. I believe love can make everything.
I didn't know the program until 2020. When it comes to working holiday visa, I talked with my friend about what kind of job I'll do in Australia, which is farm work and baby-caring. Farm is close to nature, geographically, kids are close to nature, instinctively. Then she told me 'you are suitable to be an au pair'. That is the first time I know the word. I think it's a fantastic opportunity for me not only to learn new languages, a polyglot is what I want to be, but also to feel another culture and accompany with kids as a tutor, friend or an elder sister.
