ELIZABETH, 24 ÅR

Dear future family,I am already excited about getting to know you!My name is Elizabeth. I am 22 years old. I come from Kenya currently living in Nairobi. I am the last born in a family of three. I have one sister and one brother. My brother's son grew up in our home so I learnt alot about kids through him. My mother is a nurse and my father is a teacher. My sister and I love traveling and site seeing. My family is very warm and welcoming and we value time spent together.I am friendly, outgoing and social. I am easy to talk to and a good listener I am a kind hearted and caring girl who always looks out for others. I love kids an I am always looking for everything that has to do with them.I have been taking care of my nephew Austin who is now 13 years old from the time he was born. I used to give him baths, change him and feed him. As he grew up I used to arrange play dates with him . Austin enjoyed when we went to the zoo together. He also used to like playing with the neighbor's kids I therefore used to escort him and got a chance to interact with other children. When he started school I always prepared him some packed lunch and snacks. I used to help him in his homework and made sure he spoke fluent English. I have also given a hand in taking care of my neighbor,s children. Keyshia (4 year old) and Angel (12 years) I normally take them for nature walks and they enjoy when I cook for them. Currently I am babysitting my aunt,s child Ben now 7 months old twice a week. He enjoys when I sing for him .I speak fluent English and Swahili. I am currently taking language classes in French and German so that I can become more fluent.During my free time I like cycling, swimming, gardening,hiking, traveling and visiting the zoo. I really love to cook and Im always looking for new recipes to make. I also like photography and art work. I completed my high school in 2017 I have just completed my associates degree in Business Management at Kenya college of Accountancy. I also did a hairdressing and massage course at a local college. I also have first aid training and a valid driver's license. I am currently volunteering in a public office.Given an opportunity to be an au pair I promise to be a big sister to the children and a good member to my host family. I will be waking the kids up for school, tiding them up, preparing food for them and taking them to school. I will also ensure their rooms are tidy and safe for play. I will also help them do their homework and learn a language. I enjoy if we play, travel,cook, cycle and hike together. I will also take care of the dogs ,cuddle and take a walk with them.I am comfortable in doing household duties as well. I expect that we live happily together. We can also agree that I work for extra hours for an extra pay provided that Im able to attend my language classes.I want to become an au pair because I love children and I want to be part of their positive upbringing. I also want to establish a good relationship with my host family and improve my language skills.
