MERCY, 28 ÅR

Dear family,
my name is mercy,i am 22 years old and i come from Kenya was born in Nakuru in the Rift valley province of kenya but i am currently living in mombasa,the coastal town of kenya.
I come from a family of six.I have four sisters and one brother.I am the third born in my family.My two elder sister are married and have their own families.One of whom i am assisting in running her small restaurant in mombasa.My brother who is 24 years old is in the university studing electrical engineering and my two last born sisters 17 and 10 years are both in high school and primary school repectively.My mother is a farmer both for livestock and crops.

Having completed my Hotel management and catering diploma course in november 201,7 i attended a german language class for the A1 certificate.The reason why i decided to take german classes is that i have always been interested in the european culture especially german.Its language and country history got me very curious.I would love to have a personal experience with the people and their culture and what better way to do so than to have a family where i would live and work.Having some good knowledge about the culture and the language will be an added advantage to my carreer as i will be working in the hotel industry.I intend to join the university in one or two years for my undergraduate degree in hotel management.

I speak four languages.kiswahili and english which are my first languages.Kikuyu ,which is my mother language and some german,which i am so happy and looking forward to improve and working as an au-pair in a german family will help me achieve this goal.I love to cook and enjoy different types of food.I also like to read good books ,watch some movies,meeting with friend and having a good time with my family.I also enjoy a nice walk on the beach or in the nature to get some fresh air.

I have had alot of experience with children,which all started with taking care of my siblings back at home.Helping my mother with the kids was something that i enjoyed.I love to help others and seeing their happy faces always made me happy.Taking care of relatives and friends children is very normal in our community since we all live together and help one another.
I have also been taking care of a little boy called Liam,hes now one year .When i started my college,i needed a place to stay near the school so that i wouldnt have to waste alot of time travelling.I was lucky to find a family that hosted me for that period and in return i would spend the time after school taking care of their son.I have enjoyed this experience so much,watching the baby grow,develop and learn,being able to teach him some things and the look on his face when he manages to do something for the first time.we sing,dance,play some games,read and sometimes just be silly for fun.I enjoy being with children.
I will be anxiously waiting to hear from you and learn more about your family.It will be great if i get a chance to live and work for you.Get to learn more about your culture and language.I will also surely have alot to share with your family from my coutry kenya.
