MAGDALENE, 21 ÅR

Hallo ... Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Magdalene but my friends call me Lene, I am 21 years old, a aspiring Au Pair girl from Kenya.I am fluent in English and can speak sufficient German.I am currently doing my A2 german course and have my exam in a few weeks.You surely get alot of these letters from prospective aupairs but rest assured you will not regret about my reasons why i want to become your Aupair. I am the second born in a family of four, I'm the eldest daughter,this led me to be responsible at an early age and become a good role model to my two sisters and make sure to teach them our culture as it is.Through this I have become a good forbild for them and as their big sister and I go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and they can share anything with me freely.I have alot of experience with infant care and younger children care since I have been taking care of my two siblings since childhood till now they are 13 and 9 years old. At my own free time I love taking my little sister to the park , I enjoy baking, reading educational books and magazines, taking walks with our dog (Kiki is her name) and ultimately I love spending time with kids in volunteer programs. I am a very responsible and independent girl and very organised.I am patient, caring, very jovial .I'm always excited and ready to engage with kids in fun and educational activities such as outdoor adventures, arts and crafts and learning games.I'm fast with kids and have understood that they are not always jolly thus I have learnt how to understand a child and what makes them comfortable and use it for their good. Since April last year (2022) I have been working as a volunteer kindergarten teacher in a school near my home.I have also been working with a childrens home a few kilometers from my home to help orphaned kids and children from the streets have a place to call home.In the school I am assigned to the youngest group and in between classes I am responsible for their entertainment as their teacher.We have alot of fun playing games such as hide and seek and singing games which i would love to teach your children. On sundays I volunteer in my church as a sundayschool teacher for the kids . Through these three voluntary programs i have interacted with alot of children from different backgrounds and cultures .Every child has their own unique personality and this has taught me to how to interact carefully with kids without making them uncomfortable.I have also worked with special kids and i know how to care for them . AU Pair.It's a great opportunity to get to know new cultures and friends, find a second family and discover exciting places.
