Dear host family, Thankyou for taking time to read my letter. My name is Valary and I am 22 years old. You get alot of these letter but rest assured you will not regret to read about my reasons why I want to become an aupair. I am currently living with my mother and my two brothers age 15 and 12 years respectively in Nairobi which is a big city and the capital city in Kenya. In my spare time I love to interact with kids alot,play with them and I love exploring too and playing basketball too. I helped at a kids summer basketball camp.I was responsible for entertaining the children and we had lots of fun playing hide and seek doing face painting,coloring and many more games. I have never spent longer time in abroad only once during a holiday while I was still akid . I dont think I will become particular homesick because I have grown up in a boarding school where you get to explore and learn alot of new things. I have worked as an aupair in kenya for three years My roles were: Waking up the kids and help them prepare themselves for school dropping and picking up kids from school Helping them in their homework. At times cooking their meals,washing the dishes,cleaning the house,going to pick groceries in the store and in the weekends I used to have my free time or at times I join the children in their play. I have experience in: Cooking Doing laundry I can go grocery shopping Washing the babies and taking care of them. I can Drive although not yet acquired my driving license I speak basic french I am curious to hear all about you and your children. The information I have read so far sounds interesting.
