RAFFAELE, 24 ÅR

Hello dear family, my name is Raffaele and I am 22 years old. I live in a little town nearby Venice/Italy. In October 2022 I will finish my studies at University of Padua. In the first half on 2023 I’ll be in Oslo, for a study program at the national history museum. Coming to Norway is a dream come true for me. Beside experiencing the work in a lab, I want this experience to help me grow and expand my horizons, living a different culture and getting to know new people. I’m looking for a family that will allow me to live the Norwegian life at its full, with its traditions and in a loving and familiar atmosphere. I think that this experience will be very impactful on my English and will give me the opportunity to grow as a person. Some years ago, I’ve worked in a farm for a whole summer taking care of animals. In fact, I enjoy the outdoors and I love immersing myself in new experiences even outside my comfort zone. I have quite enough experience with kids. I’ve worked in a summer camp in my city and in one in a horse-riding school, but what I’m proudest of is my experience in the boy scout’s association. I’ve been part of this association for 14 years and I’ve recently managed a group of 30 kids aged 7 to 11. Being part of the scout movement has made me love working with kids, playing and singing all together and help them grow. I’m also very passionate about animals: I’ve always wanted a dog but I never had one because of the small place where I live. That is why I enjoy bringing out my friends’ dogs and spend quality time with them. Another big thing in my life is cooking. I’m usually the one who cooks dinner in my household and I enjoy that so much because I find it relaxing and challenging at the same time. It would be an honour for me to have you taste the real Italian cuisine. Lastly, my hobbies are hiking, studying plants and playing the piano and the ukulele.
