THALIA, 28 ÅR

Dear family, my name is Thalia Amnesti, you can simply call me Thalia. I am currently living in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I just graduated from my Bachelor Degree from one of State University in my country, and I’m seeking new experiences after I graduated. I think Au Pair is the best choice to get my self a new experience as well as opportunity to learn new language and culture.
I always have interest in European culture, and I always have interest in learning new culture and language. So, I will very appreciated if the family will also give me the the opportunity to explore the country and meet people, and ofcourse without neglecting my duty to help the house hold.
As I mention before my objective to apply as an Au Pair is to know more about your country's culture and language, so I really appreciate if I can also be part of family rather than just be a “worker” at home. I also want to be more than just a caretaker for your child, but also an older sister from other country for them.
I have a little brother, he is 14 years old now and I always taking care of him since I was young, so I always familiar with childcare. I also had experiences working to take care of some children, it’s not a formal job but I believe it help me to gain more knowledge. On my campus I am also had some experiences to teaching kids, so I can also help with children homework if it needed. I also willing to do light to medium house chores for the family, as long as it’s explained in detail from the beginning and not exceeding the working hours for an au pair (as in regulation). In addition, I growing in a family with a lot animal, so taking care of pets will be my pleasure.
This is my first Au Pair, and I know I must be lacking in some parts, but I will try hard to learn so I can be more useful to my host family.
