HELENE, 24 ÅR

Hello!
My name is Hélène. I am a first year year student at the English teacher training course. In my spare time I love to read, take walks, travel, listen to music and to spend time with my family, boyfriend and friends. I live with both of my parents and two younger brothers (aged 16 and 9) in a small town called Bunschoten.
I would describe myself as spontaneous, kind, enthusiastic and most important reliable. At home in the Netherlands, I babysit my little brother (aged nine) when my parents are at work, so I have a bit experience with taking care of children. I can help your children with their homework but I sure can entertain them by playing games or taking them on a walk, for example.
I want to work as an au pair because I think that working as an au pair might be the best way to get control of the English language, I think that it is a great experience to live with a family and take care of their children where needed. I also heard a lot of great comments on being an au pair from other English teacher training course students.
My school gives English teacher training course students the opportunity to stay abroad for ten weeks. This is from the first of september until half november
