Dear Host Family, My name is Grail, you can call me Grail or Rai. I am 28 years old and the eldest child in our family of seven. I have four younger siblings. I am currently an Aupair now in a very nice host family living in Denmark. I am taking care of 3 kids ages, 1y/o, 3y/o and 5y/o. I do some light housekeeping, making lunchboxes, picking up the kids in daycare or kindergarten and making food for the family. As my contract will end in September, I am looking again for a new host family in Norway, Luxembourg, Italy, France or Spain. More about me: I worked in a corporate setting for nearly five years. During those years, I also worked as a part-time senior high school teacher for three months. Wanting to experience new things, I joined the kids ministry in our Christian church as a Sunday school teacher. I realized then that I enjoyed doing ministry rather than working in a corporate setting. Once, I also joined a campaign to help kids in rural areas and helped conduct a medical mission for a youth organization. Back when I was unemployed, I have experienced taking care of our neighbors' kids and also my cousins' kids. While the children's parents were at work, I played with them and taught them what they wanted to learn like writing and drawing. I read them books and took them for strolls in the mall or the park whenever we have the time to do so. Even until now, I still treat them as if they are my siblings. I love and enjoy spending time with children; my experiences being with them helped me realize that I have a passion for teaching and taking care of kids. As the first child, I always help my parents in cleaning the house thoroughly, doing laundry, cooking and other house chores. I cook Filipino foods and is willing to learn other dishes. I want to take advantage of my youth; that is why I want to experience knowing cultures from other countries. My eagerness to learn always motivates me to adapt quickly. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in simple things in life; being with nature, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. I am also an athletic person; I like to play different sports, including badminton and bowling. I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family that would be happy to accept me in their home while I work for them. I am flexible in arranging my working hours with you.
