XANDRA, 24 ÅR

I am a 21 years old Filipina searching for a host family (preferably in Europe). I speak Filipino, Kapampagan, and English fluently. On top of this, I can also swim, care for pets, take care of children, and do light housekeeping.

Being brought up in a Filipino household, our family has always practiced the traditional values of family centeredness/filial piety, hospitality, and politeness. I may not have a professional background in terms of childcare and housekeeping, but I have been brought up to be the "older sister" towards my
younger brother and relatives which has helped me in developing a strong sense of responsibility, extreme patience, and fondness for children. This upbringing has helped me as an individual in exercising restraint towards vices and being adept in household chores in order to help the elders of the family and be a proper role model to the younger ones. On top of this, our family have always valued relations highly which has resulted in my sociable/friendly and outgoing personality.

With a curious mind and a thirst for knowledge, I would like to be an au pair as I long to explore other cultures and experience traditions in order to nurture my perspective and help myself be more matured and open-minded in dealing with/understanding the various standpoints of different people.
