Dear host family,
Good day to my future host family! You can call me Gigi. I am 21 years old from the Philippines. We are a family of 7 and I am the eldest among my siblings. I am blessed and grateful that I have hardworking parents. When I was 11, I asked my mom if it is okay not to hire any nanny because I am willing to take care of my siblings. While they are at work, I have to look after all the household chores. I cook delicious and healthy foods for my siblings and every Sunday we go out and do some outdoor activities like swimming and riding a bike. It was a wonderful experience for me, at first it was stressful and challenging, but at the end of the day, I realized that I was productive.
Now, I am an elementary teacher in a private school. I teach young learners how to read and write, and I also teach them how to be polite and kind to others.
Aside from teaching, I have more than 1500 hours of childcare experience. I took care of my cousins' kids and my friends and workmates' kids if I have free time.
I am a passionate, fun, and driven person. I'd like to be an Au pair so that I can assist families in taking care of their kids and I get the opportunity to work with children and watch them grow. I want to immerse myself in the culture of your country and really get to know the city you live in. I am punctual, creative, lovable, flexible, respectful, and communicative. I am a mature and responsible Au pair to keep your kids safe and sound. I am adaptable and open-minded to learn and understand new circumstances easier and faster. I can do household chores which is pretty easy for me. I love outdoor activities like swimming and riding a bike. I can't wait to play with your kids, cook delicious and nutritious foods, and bake cakes and cookies for kids, and I am very excited to celebrate special holidays with your family, and being part of your family will mean a lot to me.
