SHAINA, 24 ÅR

My name is Shaina, 21 years old from the Philippines.

I am a person with a big heart for children, I love working with them and helping them learn. Aside from kids, I am also an avid lover of animals especially dogs and cats. I am highly interested in various cultures, traditions, and languages that's why I am eager to be an au pair. Being an au pair will help broaden my knowledge and give me the opportunity to personally experience a different culture other than mine.

As the eldest in my family, I learned to be responsible at a young age. I am a big sister to my younger brother and four other cousins. All of us have a very close relationship, I do fetch them from school, help them with their homework, play with them, and cook for us. During the summer break, I volunteer my time as an assistant preschool teacher at Love Christian Academy. As an assistant preschool teacher, I mainly handle kids from ages 3 to 7, I assist children in their activities where I teach them nursery rhymes, help them read and write, read them storybooks, incorporate music and art in activities, help them with their snacks, play with them during break times, and clean and sanitize the classrooms afterward. In my 5 years of being a summer assistant preschool teacher, I have learned to be patient and flexible when it comes to handling them.

As an Au Pair for your family, I can offer a lot of things. I can lend an extra set of hands in taking care of your kids and household chores so you can relax after work and have more quality time as a family. I can also teach your kids various things, I would be a great tutor if you need someone to help them with their subjects in school such as Math, Science, English, and others. And if you have pets, I would happily take care of them.
