My mother works as an employee in a company in the Philippines. My father was deceased for almost five years. My older sister works as a teacher. My older brother works in a restaurant. I am the third born who's currently in The Netherlands as an au pair and lastly, my younger brother is studying and he's in his first year in senior high school. I work for five days as an au pair in The Netherlands. I took care of my host kid's lunch box every day. I do the laundry according to schedule. I'm the one in charge of picking up the child every afternoon. The child I'm taking care of has playmates sometimes and when he has, I do play with them also. I love teaching them to write, read and draw. I love making drawings to make them have an interest in studying. I also go with him to his activities, such as football and judo. I look over him and cheer for him. Once a week, I babysit at night so my host mother and father can go out. I sometimes cook for my host family. I am free every weekend.

To my future host family:

Hi to my future host family! I am Justine Grace, 25 years old, turning 26 this year. I'm currently in The Netherlands taking care of a 5-year-old sweet boy. I came here first in the Netherlands because of the opportunity I saw online. I was so interested in the idea of the cultural exchange and the fact that this country is far from my home country makes it more interesting. I didn't hesitate to grab the opportunity for this cultural exchange because it has an age limit. The fact that I'm still fit for the requirements this cultural exchange is offering, I don't want to waste that chance. I love kids and travelling and this program is fit for me. I will be having fun taking care of my host family's child/children and at the same time, I will have the opportunity to explore more European countries and learn more about their culture. I will also help my host family with their household chores and that's not a problem for me. My contract here in the Netherlands will end on the first week of September 2020. My host family here already booked me a ticket on my way to my home country. I just hope that you, my next host family, will be alright if I will be coming from my home country which is the Philippines. I would like to have a 1 to 2 months vacation before I start an au pair to your family. I am applying this early because I want to process my papers while I'm here in the Netherlands. I talked to other au pairs and some said that it may take time. If I will be a part of your family, rest assured that you can trust me with your home and your child/children.
