SHEILA MAE, 25 ÅR

Hi , I am Sheila Mae, a filipina. I am currently an au pair in The Netherlands. I am taking care of two kids (9 & 3 years old) I am looking for a nice host family in Luxembourg, Belgium or Sweden. I am a responsible person who takes initiative and takes my job very seriously. I am open-minded and I love to learn new things such as learning a new recipe, learning a new language or a different culture. I love both kids and pets and I enjoy being around them. I have almost 3 years of experience as an au pair (2 years in Denmark and currently here in the Netherlands). I can assure you that my personal experience with kids is just as good. Rest assured that your kids are in good hands when I take care of them. I have several nephews and nieces whom I took care whenever their parents were not around so I am very familiar with kids and their needs. I basically mothered a niece when she was only 5 months old because her parents had to work far from home. Growing up in the province make it easier for me to get used to taking care of kids and doing household chores even at a young age. My parents raised me and my siblings to be diligent and responsible people especially in keeping our home tidy. This kind of upbringing made me an independent and a mature individual especially when it comes to managing my time and fulfilling my responsibilities. I want to continue my au pair journey because I want to widen my horizon by traveling abroad, learning a new language and experiencing other cultures. Unfortunately, I come from a poor family with money only enough for our daily survival and education, so being an au pair is the best key to realizing my dreams. Being here in Europe has always been a big dream to me since I was little but it is my sister's au pair experience that really fueled my desire to also become an au pair. She told me a lot of good things about Europe and the people and I want to experience it first hand. I am excited to share with you our Filipino cultures whilst I learn yours.
