Dear Future Host Family

Im Wendy S. Maglalang 29 years old from Philippines. I finished my studies in the Philippines as an Accountant. I came from a respectful, big, and happy family. I have 3 sisters and 5 brothers, Im am on the number 7 in the family. I have a little sister who is working as an au pair in Norway right now, she replaced me after my contract to my host family.
As a person I am positive, outgoing, friendly, kind, honest, responsible and independent. On my free time I like to go out for a walk, run or ride on my bicycle and see things around. I also love to cook, my talent is singing. Sometimes I watch movies on Netflix or visit some friends and make a Filipino food. I am also active in going to church every Sunday ( I am Roman Catholic).
I love kids, since I came from a big family I have nieces and nephews that I took good care of when I was in the Philippines. It gives me joy and happiness when I look after them. I know working in the office is different from being an au pair but since I am very fond of children I took the opportunity to do it. I like to be an au pair also because of cultural exchange for me its an experience to know other countries traditions and cultures.
My working experience as an au pair started in norway for two years, my host family has two kids (10 years old and 8 months those times), most of the time I babysit the 8 months old, bring her in barnhagen, put her to bed, gave her bath and helped them with light household chores, we also had a dog sometimes I walked him outside. After my contract in norway I went in denmark and right now Im working as an au pair in Gentofte. My host in Denmark is a single mother, and when I arrived in Denmark ester is only 2 years old. My task in here is almost same like in Norway, the additional things that I do in here are I im the one who do the grocery shopping twice a week and cook our dinner thrice a week. With these families that I had or have it was really a good experience because they treat me as a part of their families.
