KARINA, 28 ÅR

Dearest Host Family,

My full name is Karina Ann T. Jandayan and my nickname is Karen. I am 24 years of age, single and in good health. I am currently working here in Thailand as kindergarten and Grade 1 teacher. In my country, the Philippines, I taught kids 8 to 12 years old and also had experiences in teaching highschool students. Also, personally, I was babysitting my nephew at home when i was still in my country. I used to bathe him, feed him meals, cook him food, change diapers and take responsible in his vitamins on time. With these experiences i have had and currently still engaging with children, I am very much confident to say that I am more than able to handle them. I have the heart to children being a teacher myself. If you may wonder why I would want to take this job, it is because aside from the curiosity I have in living West and it's culture, it gives me more opportunities without being away dealing with children. We know the difference of educational system in my country and your country in which most Filipinos can't practice their profession abroad especially in European countries. Undeniably, this pays more than here and through this I would be able to help my family.
