DAYANARA, 30 ÅR

Dear host family,

My name is Dayanara T. Jagape, I am 26 years old and from the small city called Cagayan de Oro City in the Philippines. I do have two brothers, clin (28) and Narciso (32). My parents are currently living in the island of your imagination, Camiguin Province. We've got lots of chickens, we also had one dog named Ace who loves to cuddle all day. My father is a farmer and my mother is housewife, my brother worked as a technician in Nestle Corporation and the big brother is working as a seaman.

I would describe myself as a happy, flexible, and caring person, who tries her best to every situation. I really love spending times with my family especially when I came home to my parents in Camiguin (Island of your Imagination). My mother really loves flowers, she gots lot of them in our province. I also love spending with my friends and cousins on my free time to witness sunsets or sunrise. We always love to get along with nature. I am always be there for them if they need me. In addition, borned and raised in an Island also helps me grow as an independent woman. During my vacant time, I've got household chores everyday that I need to finish. Doing some laundry, cleaning the house, cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is easy for me.

I do had an experience working as room executive for 6 months in a hotel. Yes, I do the changing bed lines, making beds, mopping ang sweeping the floor. That really easy for me. At the moment, I work as a Sales Associate in Mackun Hardware, selling construction and hardware materials to Engineers, Architectures, Contractors. I meet different people everyday. Flexible and an open-minded is my first key to this kind of business. I'm living with my aunt right now with her babies. 6 years and 8 months old. And I really love to spend my vacant time with them both. Sometimes my auntie had something to do, so I need to take a look to the children, feeding them, changing diapers. I also love singing lullaby to them to get them to sleep (even if I'm not really a singer hehe). I taught them some basic learnings but I'll do it with some dance and sing a song for them not to be bored. My colleagues here bring their children and I love to take care of them, children are so cute. I believe that every new child is also a new idea.

The reason why I want to go to abroad as an au pair is that I want to get to know the other way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my skills as well.

I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to be with your family.
