Dear Host Family


My name is Jam. I am 24 year old travel enthusiast and currently residing in Abu Dhabi the capital city of United Arab Emirates. I have a total of 6 years experience in childcare. (4 years unpaid )

I am the eldest in the Family, back in the day I used to help my mom in taking care with my siblings. In this task includes: Preparing their lunch boxes, getting ready for school, sending and picking them right after their classes.

I grow up being independent and reliable person. I moved to General Santos City and took up associate hotel and restaurant management major in housekeeping. I came from a poor family but I am not ashamed of it. I was able to balance my school and work throughout college and still able to look after my nephew Budo ( 1 year old ) . My parents taught me to be humble and always give back and return the favor and kindness to others. During my free time from school and work, I always helped my cousin (who is giving me full board and accommodation during my stay in General Santos City) in taking care of her firstborn son and assisting her with the daily household chores.
Aside from that I am also active in charity events like feeding programs and organizing kids school events.

Now, I am currently residing and working until April- May 2019 here in Abu Dhabi as an outlet cashier. Every now and then I also accept babysitting just to immerse myself about the Emirate culture and family tradition.

I am really hoping that I will be able to find a warm host family that will treat me as part of the family and you can expect that I will do exactly the same to yours. I am flexible, loyal, patient, hardworking and always put family on top of my priority. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.

When it comes to preferences, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, although I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have a schedule that would allow me to attend language classes.
In exchange I am willing to do some housekeeping,babysitting and beyond the au pair arrangement.
