MA. RAE SUZANNE, 28 ÅR

Dear host family,

My name is Ma. Rae Suzanne Macaranas, I am 23 years old and from the small city called Cagayan de Oro in the Philippines. I live With my parents, Rey (50) and Suzette (53), and my brothers Julian (24) and Rey (12),. We've got one dog named Biscuit, who loves to cuddle all day. My father works as a radio technician at a broadcasting firm, my mother works as a manicurist.

I would describe myself as a happy, energetic, reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my family, cousins and friends ,they are very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me. In my free time, I like to go outdoors to witness sunsets or sunrise.. I always love to get along with nature.

At the moment, I work as an administrative clerk in a construction firm, organizing documents, visiting construction site and attending open bidding with other contractors.

For the past summer, I took care of children and also my employer has a two beautiful daughters, I take care of them when my boss and his wife was not around. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. When my brother was younger, I also took care of him, when our mom was working.

The reason why I want to go to abroad as an au pair is that I want to get to know the other way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my skills as well.

I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
