LIEZL, 30 ÅR

Dear future host family,

My name's Liezl Joy, 26 years old. I am Filipina, currently here in Oslo, Norway. I finished my bachelor's degree in Information Technology at Data Center College of the Philippines. I came from a family of 6 which is composed of my father who is a tricycle driver, my mother who is an OFW in Hong Kong for almost 22 years, my 2 siblings, a public teacher and a treasury assistant in a private company and my adorable dog. Growing up with my mother not living with us and being the eldest among my siblings, I had to be the best example of a big sister and looked after them and that I can say I am matured. I can drive a car. I do household chores like cooking, cleaning the house, changing linens, sweeping, mopping, setting up table and cleaning afterwards, preparing meals, ironing clothes, cleaning the fridge once in a while and laundry. I consider myself outgoing, hardworking, respectful and always feels like sunshine. My interests are reading books, photography, seeing new places and walking my dog at the park.

I have a big heart especially for children as I have experienced teaching children ages from 3 - 12 years old in Bible School in our church. I was assigned to do the task and it was such a rewarding experience and looking forward to do more of it. I am very calm, patient and wants children to learn through creativity. Here in Norway I have 4 host kids, they are all boys ages 13,11,8 and 5. Main task is 6:30 in the morning I prepare their breakfast and and lunchbox, sometimes I deliver the 3rd one to school thats 15minutes walk from home to school. Then I go back home to tidy the house and do the laundry. I also walk our dog. Sometimes I do grocery shopping. At 15:00 I pick up the youngest from barnehage. I cook and prepare dinner everyday. Sometimes I do babysit especially if my hostparents are busy and needed some extra hand.

This will be my best experience and I want to share it with a good and warm host family. Hoping we can talk soon!
