Dear Future Host Family, Warm greetings from the Philippines! My name is Maecy Miles F. Bolonias, I am 20 years old, from the Philippines. I am writing to you with a happy heart and great excitement to introduce myself as your future Au Pair. I am a kind, patient, cheerful, responsible, and family-oriented person. I have a genuine love for children, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I grew up in a close and loving Filipino family, where we value respect, honesty, hard work, and love — values I will bring into your home. I have hands-on experience taking care of 2 children from newborn up to grade school age. I was entrusted to care for them since they were newborns, so I am very experienced in all stages of childcare: Newborn care - feeding (bottle feeding), burping, bathing, changing diapers, and soothing them to sleep Toddler and grade school care - preparing healthy meals and snacks, dressing them, playing and doing educational activities Helping with homework, school projects, and reading Keeping their rooms and play areas clean, tidy, and safe Light household chores such as children's laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and organizing Because I cared for them for many years, I learned how to be patient, understanding, and how to truly listen to what a child needs. I also learned to be organized, trustworthy, and to manage a home with love and care. More than being their nanny, I became like an older sister to them. My dream to become an Au Pair comes from two passions: my love for children and my desire to experience a new culture. I want to be more than just a helper — I want to be a big sister to your children, someone they can trust, have fun with, and learn from. At the same time, I am very excited to learn about your culture, language, and way of life, and I would love to share my Filipino culture with your family as well.
