My name is Jefferson Truelda, and I am a hardworking, responsible, and caring person from the Philippines. I have always believed in being independent and working hard for the things I want in life. Since I was in high school until college, I was a working student, which taught me how to manage my time, take responsibility, and work well with different kinds of people. I have had different work experiences throughout the years. I started as a shopkeeper in a local market, then worked as a service crew at McDonald’s, and later became a call center agent in the BPO industry while continuing my studies. These experiences helped me become patient, hardworking, adaptable, and responsible. They also taught me how important it is to communicate well and treat people with kindness and respect. Aside from my work experience, I also have personal experience taking care of children. I have a niece whom I have helped take care of even while I was studying and working. Being around her has helped me become more patient, attentive, and understanding toward children. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, playing with them, helping them with their daily activities, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, cleaning, taking care of pets, and spending time with children. I am someone who enjoys keeping things organized and helping around the house. I would also be happy to share Filipino culture, food, traditions, and my experiences with my host family. Currently, I am working here in Saudi Arabia as a service crew, a job that I truly enjoy because I love interacting with people and being part of a team. Working abroad has also helped me become more independent, responsible, and open-minded. I want to become an au pair in America because I would love to experience living with a host family, learn about American culture and everyday life, and most importantly, become a positive and caring person in the lives of the children I will be looking after. I am excited to build a meaningful relationship with my host family, learn from them, and share my own culture and experiences with them. I may not know everything, but I am willing to learn, listen, adapt, and give my best in everything I do. I believe that my hardworking nature, childcare experience, love for children, and experience living and working away from home will help me become a responsible and dependable au pair.
