JASMIN, 18 ÅR

Dear family, I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Jasmin J. Pabillaran. I am 17 years old turning 18 this September 29, 2023 and from Cebu City, Philippines but I lived in the province of Toledo. With my parents, Ruby (mom, 40) and Ramel (dad, 41), my brother Jasper Lee (15) and my youngest sister Blissy Faith (4). I am living in a house that is located in an area full of nature and 2mins to got o the beach. We have got 5 dogs, who love to cuddle and very clingy. My father works as a security guard in Jollibee Fastfood, my mother works as a Lady Guard in a Thrift shop store. Luca is currently attending the 8th grade of high school. And my youngest sis is currently studying in Kindergarten. Overall, we are a pretty large family, I have ten cousins. I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me. In my free time, I like to listen to music, sing or dance. Going out to explore the place. Dancing is one of my favorite hobbies and I am also teaching young children at church. Furthermore, I enjoy reading a good book and singing. At the moment, I work as a call center agent at StartPoint I.T Solutions in Toledo City. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond solve problems to my costumers and improves my English speaking skills. I also worked before as a house helper (1 year). I do household chores and cook food for my boss which is an Irish man. I paid my own tuition fees and help parents a little, atleast. I also took care my baby cousins before and through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them. The reason why I want to go to the Norway as an au pair is that I want to get to know the Norwegian way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills and learn more about Norwegian as well. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids.
