JOANNE, 24 ÅR

Dear host family, I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Joanne Louise Manzano. I am 23 years old and from Makati city in Manila, Philippines. Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management. My parents, Joey (49) and Maria Elena (50) is living in our Province , with my two younger sister Janne Dennis (21) and Jade Andrea (20), Our Older sister Jennifer (29) is currently living in Finland, I am living in a house that is located in an urban area Surrounded by tall buildings and businesses. My father works as a Project Coordinator at a Food Distributor Company , my mother use to be a Project Coordinator just like my Father but she decided to stay at home and oversee our Small Sari sari store business. Janne Denise Is currently at her 3rd year College major in Computer Technology and Jade Andrea is currently 4th year college Major in Secondary Education. I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I'm always there for them if they need me. In my free time, I like to watch food and travel vlogs it is one of my favorite hobbies. I love to cook and bake as it was what i majored about .Furthermore, I also enjoy spending time with my younger cousins, they are often left in my care when their parents go to work. In College days i used to work,as a On- call Housekeeping attendant every school break after Graduation I work as a Front Desk associates for 11 Months , providing guest services and satisfaction. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with many of my customers. For the past ten years, I took care of children of all ages as i was the 2nd born of the Family. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. I also took care of my Grandma as she had been a bedridden for 5 years before she past away. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them. The reason why I want to go to your country as an au pair is that I want to get to know the European way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills as well. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids.
