PAULA, 30 ÅR

My name is Paula Espinoza, and I'm a 28-year-old English teacher. I live with my younger brother and my cat in Santiago, Chile. Since the pandemic, I've been thinking about trying new experiences and, as I love working with kids and traveling, I think working as an Au Pair it's just perfect for me. I teach English to Elementary and High School students, but I also have experience working with little kids. When I was studying for my bachelor's degree I babysat two beautiful children aged 3 and 7 years old. While I was in college I also volunteered many times to take care of kids who needed help with different school subjects, but that needed distraction as well. So we played a lot together. I'm also finishing my master's degree in educational innovation and creativity (which is a lot of fun!). In my free time, I love reading, watching movies, going for walks, talking with friends, and cooking. I enjoy learning languages too (I speak Spanish and English fluently, and my French is intermediate), and getting to know new cultures and places, which is why I try to travel as much as I can. I've lived in a few different countries before, like the United States, and Ecuador. I would love to become an Au Pair because it's the perfect way to combine two of the things I enjoy doing: working with kids and teenagers and getting to know a new culture. I understand that being an older sister for your kid(s) comes with great responsibility. I am ready to spend time with them and play a lot, but I'm also prepared to help you with their care and their needs. My training as a teacher has provided me with a variety of skills to apply in more difficult situations as well. I am really excited to hear about you and your family.
