Dear Future Host Family
I am Manila, a 24 year old girl from Albania, (Albanian nationality) looking for a warm and welcoming family.
I am a very hardworking girl, open to new adventures but also very responsible and reliable.
I come from a family of 6, my parents, my two older siblings( sister and brother) and my little brother. My father is a Math/Physics teacher, while my mother is a Vet. My older brother and sister are both Medical Doctors and my little brother is still in High school. Living in a quite big family have taught me the importance of always being patient and loving with people around you, while being a middle child has taught responsibility and reliability especially for my younger sibling.
I have finished my studies (Bachelor and Master’s Degree) in Laboratory Technician but I also work as a nurse with young children.
Having little to no time has taught me to manage my free time more carefully. I love biking in nature, voleyball, but also sometimes to enjoy a cup of tea with a good book or a nice movie/series.
I’ve always had a special connection with children. Taking care of them has begun since I was a teenager when I used to watch after my baby niece while her parents were away at work.
Since then I’ve had an interest in joining volunteer work with children such as “Down Sindrome Albania”.
I have also taken part in helping children with different every day tasks, being part of birthday parties as an animator etc.
My mother tongue is Albanian, but I speak English fluently.
I also have a basic knowledge of German and French.
I want to become an Au-Pair because it’s the best way to integrate in a different culture that I’m interested in and also being part of a new warm and welcoming family would be a great opportunity.
I expect to be welcome by the family as a part of theirs for as long as I stay with them. Of course privacy is another important thing that I expect to have.
I am willing to do light house chores, but mostly to be involved in children care in their daily tasks, I have no problem with taking care of animals as well.
