A LITTLE BIT ABOUT JESSICA :)
Hello future host family!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile! My name is Jessica, and I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I've joined this site in hopes of achieving my dream of living abroad with a family as an Au Pair. The world is such a big place and there is so much to learn, and with so many cultures to experience it would be a dream come true to experience life in a new country by living it first hand with a loving family. I recently visited the Netherlands and absolutely fell in love with the country and its culture, and I am hoping to find the right host family there who I can offer my services to!
I understand what a huge thing it is to bring someone into your home and have confidence in them. My goal is to make you feel that your home and family are being cared for to the same standard that you would do yourself. Raising a family and maintaining a house is an enormous, 24/7 task, and I want to lighten your load of work while experiencing a new culture and sharing my own. I love helping others and I absolutely love caring for children. Children are so spontaneous and truthful; they are truly a joy to be around. Respect, trust, and love are essential to me, and I am looking for a family who shares these values.
A few other things about me:
*I have experience volunteering with 80 children from 0 to 14 years old;
*I lived with two children from their 1 to 10 years old (my mom was their nanny);
*I spent several months tutoring American and Chilean children who moved to Brazil and were struggling in school with Portuguese and Math;
*I have spent countless hours with children who are now 2 years old, 8 and 12 years old ever since they were born;
* I have a niece who is 13 years old who I have been in touch with since she was born.
* I have a First Aid certificate
*I love learning new languages! I am Trilingual: I speak Portuguese (Native Language), English (Fluent), and Spanish (Fluent). I would love to learn some Dutch too!
