Dear Host Family,

My name is Kethella, I am a 22 years old Brazilian and currently I am an Au pair in Germany. I’m a warm and nurturing nanny with experience volunteering with children. I love to help families ease their day-to-day stresses by making sure their little ones are taken care of with lots of love and patience. Also,I love to help children learn and explore in a safe, warm, and joyful environment. Arts and crafts, age-appropriate cooking, singing, and storytelling are some of my favorite activities. I also can cook really well so I’m very happy to offer high quality care to your children!

*I have good references with my family in Germany that I can provide you. I really would like to go to Copenhagen because I am in love with this city and the Nordic street and urban style.

*Available dates to start: Between 02.20 to 0.8.20 (can stay for 18 to 24 months).

*I can not put photos of my host kids but I can provide recommendations and, if we have some Skype, you can know them.

*preferable age to work with is 0 to 6 years.

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, to track, do sports, hiking... I also love to change and I’m always learning something new. I finished my tourism studies and my MBA course in service management.

I’m from Rio de Janeiro and I always lived with my mom Joseli. I was raised by my mother and grandmother in Brazil and I don’t have brothers or sisters but I truly think that it’s a gift to see the world through kids eyes, that’s why I volunteered in a kindergarten last year with kids between 2 and 5 years old. There, a learned some teaching practices for kids, some handmade games... was really nice!

In their routine we (me and the teachers) did all kinds of activities with arts, music, dance… Everything that improves kids imagination. During lunch time we giving them food and did everything co-related to them. We had a wonderful time together. I also can give some references.

I’m a very creative person! I like to photograph around, explore new places and I also traveled around Europe last years, visiting Denmark for 3 months, studying and living and Portugal for 6 months, backpacking around Europe for 2 months and volunteering in a hostel in Poland for 2 weeks... Currently I am working as an Au pair in Stuttgart, Germany, with 2 kids (2 and 5 years old). In Brasil, besides volunteering with kids, I worked with the tourism industry and with hospitality.

While I was in Portugal I created a youtube channel to help the others to go there, now has 1 thousand followers but more than 100 thousand views, was really amazing to see how I could help this amount of people!

Finally, I would describe myself as an open-minded, patient, responsible and easygoing person, my family and friends say that I’m very funny too. I also enjoy cooking, traveling and I’m very energetic person! I love to enjoy a day at park reading a book, or going hiking, partying and dance… It all depends on the mood. Spending time with my family is also very important to me!

I’m really excited to make my Au Pair dream come true in Denmark and I look forward to helping your children grow and learn in a happy and healthy environment!

WHY DO I WANT TO BE AN AU PAIR?

I decided to become an Au Pair because I’m a trustful person who loves to be with children, besides it has been my dream to get to live abroad again and immerse myself in a new Culture and of course to learn a new language.

I believe that when you are abroad, far from your family and friends you have a totally new way of life to explore and see. That's why I would love to have an opportunity to at least have an interview to be part of you family for some months.

WHY DO I WANT TO BE AN AU PAIR IN DENMARK?

While I was in DK, I learned the hygge, I learned how good is to go anywhere riding a bike (actually I learned the street signals to ride a bike as well as danish people do), I also tried the Danish food and learned to like it haha... So, I want to be part for 1 or 2 years of this amazing and happy country, that's why I would like to be an Au pair in Denmark.

Besides that, one of my mine goals for the next years is to start a master related to urban planning in Europe, and move to a Nordic country would help me because I like the city style and how the cities are planned for people, specially in Denmark, that is one of the reasons that I am focus in go to this country.

*I also love animals, so, this is not a problem for me.
