MIGUEL, 26 ÅR

I am Miguel, a brazilian-portuguese university student who is excited about life and that loves embracing opportunities and challenges. I am very caring about family and friends, also quite easygoing and extrovert. Recently I have worked as a volunteer for some months in a kindergarten in Estonia, with children aged 3 up to 6 years old, and it was a wonderful experience, looking after, teaching and spending good times with them. I helped the teachers with the classes, I would teach them some english and also help put them to sleep. We would play a lot together, do exercises, read stories, etc. I also have always been very involved in the raising of my two little cousins who are pre-teens now! I am very responsible and I love playing with and taking care of children.

I am an university student, currently taking a bachelor's degree in International Relations and I am working for one year now at a charming hostel in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Both my studies and my work helped me have a broader view of the world and both encouraged me to look for new opportunities of improve myself. I have a lovely but not so big family, I love spending time with them and I enjoy having family reunions and attend to holiday celebrations with everyone together. My family is very multinational (brazilian, portuguese, danish, japanese)!

I recently went to Tallinn, Estonia, to do a volunteering work at a kindergarten and learn how to get by own my own and have new challenges! It was an amazing time in which I had the fantastic opportunity to meet great people from so many places with whom I stablished good bonds that I will definitely take with me for life. I also loved to work with the children, they were so sweet and it was very interesting to look after them and also teach them what I could! I would do various activities with them, from actual learning english to playing games to exercising and other physical activities! It was a fun time that I will keep dearly, but I am also hoping for having other opportunities to spend time and help with taking care of children.

I am a very eclectic person and I love spending my spare time watching movies, tv-shows, reading books and articles, going for a walk in the park or around the city, exercise, talk with friends and have a cup of coffee or just stay home with my family. I love listening to all kinds of music and also playing it (the piano). I am a very open-minded and extrovert person, so I really like talking to people and discussing various topics, :)
