MANUELA, 20 ÅR

Dear Host Family: My name is Manuela, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Salta un the north of Argentina. I live surrounded by trees, mountains and nature.I consider myself a responsible, honest, patience, punctual and friendly girl who always sees the positive side of things and belive that everything has a solution. I work hard to achieve my goal and enjoy the process of them. I live with my two brothers called Baltazar and Justo, my mom who's name is Ana and my dad which name is Nicolas. I have two dogs, one is a toy poodle and the other is bullmastiff. I really adore animals, specially cats but I do not have one because my mother is allergic to them. In my free time I'm a big fun of going for a run, or reading in the sun. Baking is one of my favourite things to do. I enjoyIn listening to music too. I like painting and drawing too. I go to pilates three times a week. In summer, I like swimming in the lagoon that is near to my house. I finished school last year and this year I started to study medicine, but I realized that my vocation is psychology, I am very good at listening and accompanying people who need it. I am very attached to my family, especially to my mother who taught me the true values of life. She is always there for me when I need it, accompanying and advising me to make me feel better. I was always surrounded by children as my cousins are a lot younger than me, but my childcare experience started last year when I started to take care of Catalina who is 10 and Pedro who is 8. I go twice a week for 4 hours. And this year I started to take care of Patricio who is 6 and Jerónimo who is 4 since April 2022, I don't have a fixed schedule but I usually go once a week for 3 hours. I would like to be an Au Pair because I have always wanted to move to the USA and learn more about American culture. And I think this is a great opportunity exchange since I really enjoy spending time with kids and I have experience with it. It involves stepping out of the mold and betting on something new that I always wanted to experience. The thing I enjoy more of caring for children is that you have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a little one, you will be someone to remember for the rest of his life and I think there is nothing more beautiful than leaving a mark on someone. They always raise your spirits and make you laugh when you need it. I am very excited about the idea of being able to live and meet your family in which I hope to be part of and be able to help you with everything you need.
