BRENDA, 21 ÅR

Hello! My name is Brenda Luján Barros and I am from Argentina. I was born in a small town called Icaño, located in the province of Santiago del Estero which is within my native country Argentina. My family currently consists of only four members: my mom, my dad, me, and my younger brother.  My grandparents died a while ago due to old age. In my family we are very close and we are always dedicated to seeking peace and well-being in our home. My mom is a teacher, my dad is a taxi driver, my brother is a high school student and I am currently studying to become a teacher. Something else about me. I'm turning 19 next month and I graduated from high school last year. My family, my friends and even myself, I define myself as a fairly positive person in all aspects, I like listening to music, reading books, writing, drawing and taking photos of plants. My mother tongue is Spanish, although I can defend myself quite well in English.  I learned English in elementary school, continued to perfect it in high school and am currently learning it on my own.  (I apologize if at any time I misspelled in this text). I love children, since I was 10 years old I have helped my aunts take care of my cousins.  When I reached my teens I began to take care of the neighbors' children, and a short time later I began to offer myself as a babysitter in my town. I have also tutored elementary school children in various school subjects, one of these being English. What are my expectations? I do not demand much, I just would like the family that receives me as an Au Pair to be kind and to treat me with the respect and education with which I will treat them.
