We are an international family who lives in the German speaking part of Switzerland, 15 min by public transport from the centre of Zürich in a place called Dübendorf. We are looking for a live-in au-pair to help us look after our two boys (7 and 5 years old). The children speak English, Italian and (Swiss) German. We are looking for a kind, responsible, attentive, and loving person to be a part of our children's lives. It is important that you are someone who can be in control, responsible and fun at the same time.
You would be expected to work 30 hours per week, mainly looking after the children and helping with light household chores (washing up, hoovering, cooking lunch for the kids). The children go to school in the morning and some afternoons, but always come back for lunch. Your duties would also include taking them to after-school activities. Weekends are free. Starting date is 20th August. We are looking for an EU passport holder or someone who has a permit to work in Switzerland, non-smoker. To qualify for the au-pair permit you must be maximum 29 years old. Driving is a bonus, but not essential. Your English or Italian must be fluent.
We offer lodgings (a fully furnished room with Wi-Fi access + WC) full board, monthly pocket money: 700 CHF per month (net). We also cover the insurance and the costs of a German language course at the local language school. You will have 4 weeks of paid holiday.
