Bonjour to our prospective au pair!

My name is Akach and I am a British citizen and live in Lamu, Kenya. I moved here 16 years ago, it's so beautiful here. I have three children: Yasmin, 4 1/2, Leyla, 3 and Ziggy, 18mths. I also have four grown children already left home. During my time in England with my older children I had a Swiss au pair. She came to live with us for free and in exchange she lived with us as part of the family helping out with chores whilst simultaneously brushing up on her English. It was a wonderful experience for all parties involved.

I intend for our potential au pair to experience the same here and embrace the beautiful tropical, island life whilst being part of our family. I require the au pair to speak in his/her native language of French so the children can learn from a French, native speaker.

We are a laid back family. I am quite content doing the housework myself and looking after the children on top of my day job as a Shaman healing and curing addicts. This is my website: www.ibogaineretreat-lamukenya.com

The au pair will have a lot they can learn and see here in Lamu on top of what they will teach us in exchange. We live a dream life of fishing, island hoping, swimming, homeschooling and all is in a laid back environment.

We live in a 5 bedroom idylic house with a pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. This is an opportunity to take advantage of living within a family setting whereby you just have to be yourself and speak in your native tongue. I am a Shaman so there's a chance you will get to do psychedelics on the weekends as I work with sacred plants.

I have an upcoming contract to work in Martinique in the Caribbean which is why I would like our children to be in better stead to learn French.
