AU PAIR NEEDED IN CORK, IRELAND
Dear Au pair,
Our family is looking for a kind, creative and dynamic person (with at least basic English), to join our house and a help us with our 3 kids weekdays from the May 2017.
In our past experiences, the Au pairs we had, had the chance to discover Ireland, learn or improve their English and we would encourage them to enjoy the experience of being in a different country while being part of our family.
Our current Au pair has advised us that she would be happy to answer any questions you may have related to her experience as an Au pair in our family.
We are 2 working parents looking for an Au pair to help us with our 3 children. Leigh is 9 and goes to school till 3PM, Eirinn just turned 5 and finishes school 2PM. Our (nearly) 4 year old boy goes to preschool in the morning till 12:30PM. We have had au pairs before and I have been an au pair myself when I first arrived in Ireland. I am French and my husband is Irish. Our family is all about making sure to enjoy life to the full and ensuring that everybody is happy in the house.
The Au pair, will need to help with getting the kids ready in the morning, collecting the kids from preschool and school. To felicitate the school runs, the au pair will need to drive and therefor will need to have a clean full driving licence, as I she would need to drive my car. The main task for the Au pair will be the children. We are looking for someone who is nice, friendly, creative, loves children and has the patience to invest time into getting ideas to entertain them and help them develop their learning. She will need to be dynamic as for us it is important to get the kids active, take them to the park and play with them. As the au pair will share the house with us, we would expect a small contribution to the housework, the same as she would do if it was her own home. It is important that we all help maintain the house in good shape, so we can all enjoy and relax in a nice and tidy house. We all participate and we also try to teach our kids to clean and tidy up after themselves.
