METTE

We are a happy bilingual (Danish) family who love to have fun, spend time together and keep active. Skyla Ruby (6) and Sebastian (3) are our entire world and we do everything we can to expose them to new experiences, learn Danish and have lots of laughter. We spend as much time as possible outdoors and love to bbq in all weathers. We have a cat called diamond nose.

We currently live in a small village called Fairlands near Guildford in Surrey but we are due to move up to the North of England next month. The place we are moving to is a beautiful town called Harrogate. Harrogate has been nominated the best place to live a few years in a row. At weekends we love to go for walks in an number our local woods, enjoy meals at restaurants and pubs and like to plan activities with friends and family. For three days per week (Tue - Thur) I work in a gym as a personal trainer/Duty Manger. Skyla is at school Monday to Friday 8:40 to 15:15. Sebastian is at nursery for two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday). My Husband works full time and is usually home before 7pm most days and has the flexibility to work around the family. Dinner will likely be something healthy and we try to always eat as a family. We also all chip in and help with tasks and chores around the home. Keeping active and healthy is also important to us all and we like to take it in turns for a run around the village some evenings or a mud run a few times each year.

We are hopeful of finding someone who is first and foremost a caring, happy and positive person who enjoys and is good with children from 2 years and above. Our Current Au pair cooks 3 evenings per week, helps with the chores around the house, clearing up after dinner, and supporting with the typical daily chores around the house expected with two young children. Myself and my Husband have a date night once per week and plan for the occasional weekend activity so child care during these times will be required. We are looking for someone who is confident enough to get involved and have some fun, we will treat them as one of our family and would expect the person to make the most of this experience as we will too.
