HEIDI

We are family of 5 - mom Heidi, dad Mads, Jasmin 8 years old, Jonatan 4 years old and Oliver 2,5 years old. Heidi and Mads go to work every day. Jasmin goes to school every day from 8 am to 15.30 pm. Jonatan and Oliver go to daycare from 8 am to 15 pm every day.

We need au pair help in the mornings - help to get the kids ready for daycare (get dressed, have breakfast, etc.). Mads and I are here to help also so we cooperate about the kids. After we have left for work/daycare we need help to tidy up after breakfast, emptying dishwasher, tidy up toys, doing the beds, pulling up curtains, etc. We call this morning tidy-up;-). Everyday there are some normal household cleaning tasks - like cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, floor wash, etc. Everyday there will also be some laundry to do and approximately once a week there are ironing of shirts. When you have finish the morning tidy up, cleaning and laundry you will have the rest of day off until the kids come back from school/daycare. In the afternoon (from 4 - 6 pm) you will cooperate with Heidi about the kids and making dinner. Sometimes it may be you who makes dinner and Heidi will play with the kids and sometimes it will be you who plays with the kids and Heidi will make dinner. Mads comes home from work around 6 pm and then we all have dinner together. After dinner Mads and I will take the kids to get them ready for sleep and you will clean up after the dinner - taking the dishes off the table, rinse and put into dishwasher, clean pots & pans, etc. Around 7- 7.30 pm you are "off".
So primarily we need your help during the week and in general you will have weekends off to be with friends (there are many Filipino au pairs in the area). Occasionally we will ask you to babysit in the evening/weekends. You will also have time off to go to language school.

We live in a nice house that is easy to maintain and clean. You will have you own room with is quite private from our bedroom and the kids room and you will also have your own bathroom (only shared with guest that are staying over).

We think we are a nice family who would welcome you as a member but also respect your need to be private and have time for yourself. You will work as our au pair according to the Danish Au Pair Scheme which we do our best to respect and obey. And we want our au pair also to do this, so please make yourself aware of this:
