Hey! We are a family of 4: my husband, our dog Bruna (who is a big black dog but well trained and you would not be in charge of her), myself and Leonie. She is 1,5 years old and a bundle of energy though very friendly and kind. Leo loves to run around and sing/dance/pretend she’s a fire(wo)man (including the sirene signal). In this household we are kind to each other, make jokes but also say no to things we disagree with. Everyone gets a „no“ here when it’s not ok. „Please“ and „thank you“ is a must, too. Beside that we are pretty darn good in giving high fives, dancing and cheer each other up. Well, most of the time. Oh and we sing. We are really bad but we don’t care how bad it is ;-) We live in a tiny house with view into the nature but only a 15 minute walk away from the train station that brings you to Hamburg within 23-25 minutes. You would have your own room with a bed at night but I will have to work in that room during the day. (That’s why we set it to only 1 month as we need to see if this works out). My husband works a lot and I’m writing on my masters degree in art science, so a lot of desktop work. Your job would be to pick up Leonie after Kindergarten and have a nice afternoon with her until bedtime. Maybe cook. She loves going to the hardware store in particular but all other stores and places are welcome, too. I was an exchange student a long time ago in the USA and know how hard life abroad can be.
