TETIANA, 34 JAHRE

Hello :)
My name is Tetiana. I come from Ukraine, but last year I have been living in Aalborg, Denmark. Why? I have finished an exciting master program. It was exciting because I had to travel and study around whole Europe and Scandinavia in countries such as for example Portugal, United Kingdom, Poland, France and, of course Denmark, where I finally stopped.
I am educated and practically experienced social worker. That means that I am used to working with different (the most different you can ever imagine!) people. For example, I have been working with homeless, refugees, older people, the youth, teenagers, and with Greenlanders here in Denmark.
Apart from being educated in psychology, pedagogy, counseling and diverse communication skills, I am also sociable person. I like to work to my full potential, and if I do something I like to do it well until I am satisfied with the result. I am always searching for personal growth and development. You can see it from example: while being in Denmark, I have learned Danish. And so far I receive many compliments about the progress in my Danish language skills. Jeg kan godt lide at taler dansk og søger altid nye udfordringer. Og dansk ser ud som det rigtigste udfordring!
Regarding other languages, my mother tongue is Ukrainian, and I am fluent in Russian, too. Also, I have good level of Polish and basic Portuguese and Italian.
I have a great experience in teaching English for children, teenagers and for adults, too. ‘My kids’ (this is how I call my former students) and me did really good progress, when from basic English level children would move to the speaking and chatting and actually using this language on every day basis. I am really good at teaching and using different pedagogical methods as well as creativity while exploring children’s interests in the learning process.
I like to study myself (you can say it since I have been studying for 7 years…). But I also like to do a lot of sports. I am passionate about aerial arts, which is pole and aerial hoop and dancing. So, it really balances my life and develops me to the full potential. I also sing in choir and do street style photography.
Currently, my family, parents and younger brother (and cat, I should count him, too) live in Ukraine. We come from a mountainous area of Ukraine. And this is what I really lack in Denmark – mountains…
In future I see myself as a university teacher in social sciences. However now, after so many years of studying, I would like to have a break between the earning degrees and ‘digest’ what I have leaned.
