PORNTHIP, 28 JAHRE

Hello my future host family, My name is Pornthip, I am 26 years old and come from Thailand but now I have been staying in Munich. ( I already have a visa ) I graduated with a Bachelor of education degree from university in Bangkok. I had an internship in a school for a year. After graduating, I worked as a kindergarten teacher for 2 years. Among other things, I taught the children basic English, played with them (e.g. drawing and dancing) and helped them to explore the area. It was especially important to me to promote their social skills and thirst for adventure. The day care center also had handicapped children that I took special care of. They often needed special attention and help with everyday matters. After my time in kindergarten, I also worked as a teacher for students who were up to 15 years of age. I really enjoyed. After these 2 years of working with the children, I wanted to develop myself personally in order to be able to look after the children even better in the future, so that I can give them other valuable things along the way. To make that happen, I want to get to know new languages ​​and cultures. My mother tongue is Thai. I also can speak English and I am currently learning German. I would rate my German language level as A2 and I look forward to improve it in the future. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Also, I am a talkative person who likes to meet new people, cooking, reading, taking walks, listen to music, or watching romantic comedies. I am thankful and excited for the opportunity to experience something new and to learn from the experience more about myself. My family comes from the south of Thailand, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Our family consists of my mother, my older sister and me. My father divorced my mother when I was a baby and my mother raised me and my sister on her own. Watching my mother raise us all alone has shaped me a greatly. She is a strong woman and this made me decide to study teaching because I would like to convey these same values ​​to my students. My mother taught me to never give up and always treat people positively and with respect. These are the values ​​that I would like to pass on to my future students.
