My name is Pawinee Lasuay. you can call me Ying. I am 27 years old, a funny brown girl from Thailand who cannot wait to get on the plane and start her great au pair adventure. I have always enjoyed looking after children. They live in their own little world, a reminder for me of what it was like to be a kid.

But before I continue, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter, which I really appreciate.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education Program in Computer Education from Nakhorn Phathom Rajabhat University. I was a former teaching internship at Wat Sam Khwai Phueak School for 1 year. It was amazing to work there as a teacher.In the beginning every week I was teacher gate duty. I love to give a conversation with students. I have been teaching computer kindergarten 2-3 and Primary grade 1-6 and now I working at Lom Lak Maeklong School near my house. Am I only computer teacher in there. It makes me have to teach every classes. I’ve really seen them happy and excited when they came in to my class.

Why do I like to work with kids? because Working with kids is fun!.
My every single day at work is the same! students come to see me for counseling for many different reasons. Even though sometimes the underlying difficulties are similar, the counseling approach for each kid is always different. This is because we don’t only focus on the difficulties the kid is having, we focus on the kid’s strengths, and we also take into consideration their age, personality, what they like to do/play, and child make me a more knowledgeable person kid's are, by nature, very curious. With all the questions they ask, I constantly find myself looking for answers on books and on the internet. I think this is a great thing about having a relationship with a kids. knowing that my job is to help kids achieve their full potential and to help them feel happier and better about themselves, brings a huge smile to my face :)

I love to do things together with kids, like going outside and discovering the world around us. Going to playgrounds, Cycling or picnicking at the park are great activities! But having a great time at home and playing with toys or cooking Thai foods together is also a lot of fun. Doing (educational) games or making arts and crafts are things I really enjoy to do with kids. I personally think that it is important for kids to be able to let their fantasy and imagination run wild.

In my free time I like to cooking Thai foods, learning English, watching movies and playing with cat. I love play sports such as badminton and volleyball, go shopping and talking with my family a lot.

I am really looking forward to my au pair year. I am excited to learn a different culture and to bond with my host family in a special way, where I can be myself and in which I can love them like family.
I am looking forward to discovering my host country.
