CHANAPORN, 30 JAHRE

“Sawasdee ka” from Thailand (which means hello in Thai). My name is Chanaporn Chanon. You can call me Charlotte as my nickname. I am 26 years old. I’m from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand and I’m currently working as a quality assurance tester in Leisure industry. I'm living in Bangkok with my parents, my younger brother and my beloved cat 'Chloe'. They are the most important people in my life.

I would describe me as a reliable, friendly, positive and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know new countries and people. In my spare time, I like reading books, biking, sometime hiking, and exploring the new places and watching movies especially fantasy and thriller one. Moreover I love cooking Thai food and I hope you’d like to try them sometime.

I used to be an au pair in Sweden in 2018. I took care of 2 girls (6 and 8 years old) who are so energetic and so kind to me. My normal routine was picking them up from school (sometime I dropped them at school in the morning if my host family was in rush), preparing food for them which is easy and basic like pasta, meatball, pancakes, sushi (seaweeds with rice and vegetables eg. carrot or cucumber) or noodles and Thai fried rice after school. Food depends on what they preferred. They like to make pancakes and sushi with me. Sometimes I helped the oldest sister with math homework. Moreover, I took them for other activities and even picnic in the park together in summer. I let them play and taught them which is good thing to do. We enjoyed hung out together. I also helped my host family with light household chores, tidy up the house and babysat to look after the girls in evening when their parents needed. I spent time with my host family in Stockholm and can say that it was so meaningful to me to be with them.

Also I had a child care experience with infants or toddlers as well while I was in Thailand before going to Sweden so I can get along with any kids. I love to make them smile and comfortable to be with me.

As an Au pair, I am willing to become flexible and be a big help because I understand that family life can be hectic and children are important. I will be respectful to your privacy and be communicative as it’s key to a successful exchange year. I will exchange as much as Thai culture to your family while learning yours and the foremost reason that made me decide to be an au pair is watching someone, not only a teenager but also a baby or a toddler, growing to be a brilliant person and I am a part of his/her success. It is the most rewarding of mine.
