SUPHAWAN, 24 JAHRE

My name is Suphawan Phandech, but you can call me Whan. I’m 19 years old and i come from the Bangkok area of Thailand. I grew up in a house of another family because my mom was a cook and a babysitter for them. Whenever my mom wasn’t able to watch over the kids, i took her place. I used to play with their kids every weekend and me and my mom had to take care of the kids all day when the family wasn’t home. I also watched after my little brother every day when I wasn’t at school.

I’ve been in Denmark for 5 months in total, so i have experience with some scandinavian traditions, cultures, and food. I really love the way scandinavian people spend time with their families because it is so cozy. I would love to try living in a scandinavian country together with a scandinavian family.

I want to take a break from my hotel and restaurant management major at university, and i decided to be an au pair because i want to try doing something new and i would like to experience the world. I think the best way to experience a country is living with a family.

I learnt most of my cooking skills from my mom. I know how to cook a lot of different thai and east asian dishes. I learnt how to cook some danish food when i went to Denmark.
