PHEERAYA, 38 JAHRE

My name is Pheeraya Tatongma, or you can call me “Alice”. I am 29 years old and at the moment living in Bangkok Thailand with my lovely family. There are five of us – I am the second daughter. I have one elder sister and one younger brother who is younger than me for almost 10 years, but we are very close as I have helped my mum brought him up since he was only 3 months old. My mum owns a grocery shop in the neighborhood I live in. For my education, I graduated in Journalism and Mass Communication from Thammasart University.
Although my current job is not involved in child care but I have many experiences with children; apart from raising up my small brother, I was a volunteer for Sub-District Administrative Organization for 6 months. The place I worked at is a pre-school for children aged 3 to 8 years old in my community. I was a babysitting assistant. My main duty is to care for small children at the school included teaching them, feeding them and creating fun activities such as storytelling, singing, painting. I also taught them to count number 1 to 10 as well as learning English alphabets A to Z. I spent my workdays taking care of them until their parents pick them up in the evening. At the moment, I am working parttime at nursery and kindergarten almost every day. To be honest, this is the most enjoyable job I have had so far !

The reason that I want to become an au pair is because of my direct experience as a babysitter. I have spent a lot of time among the children at children care centre. It makes me learn that a child will grow up to be a good person when he or she has got a good raise. In this case, they will need a good role model and be well taken care off during their childhood time which is very important for them. They will need support and encouragement not only for physical but for mental too. Therefore, I am certain that my warm love and happiness will always have a positive influence on them and will increase both their physical and their mental development. Furthermore, to be an au pair can improve my English skills; thus, I think that I will gain many experiences which I cannot find anywhere in Thailand. I would like to learn a new culture and at the same time I would like to share my own culture to you too. So joining the aupair can bring the best time to my life and give me many long-lasting memories.

As I have grown up in a lovely family that makes me become a cheerful and optimistic person. My work experiences also taught me to be very calm and patient. I have discipline and very much responsibility. I am willing to help you with light housework and cooking. I am also flexible with schedule so if your family needs me for the evening, I would be happy to be there for the kids. I love children and I am sure that I would be one of the best au pair they have ever had and will have a wonderful time with me.
