KEERAYA, 31 JAHRE

Hallo ! Hej ! Sawasdee ka! (It means Hello in Thai ^_^). First of all, let me introduce myself here. My name is “Keeraya”, but you can call me “Kee” for short. I am a 22-year-old Thai woman with short dark brown hair, black eyes and medium heights. I have got a degree in Oriental Traditional Medicine, which makes me specialise in massaging and mother and children care.

I was born in Bangkok. Now I live in Samutsakhon with my family, which is the central part of Thailand and near Bangkok. I have two brothers Kanisorn (27) and Chayanan (10). My father, Somkiat (50) is a reclamation contractor and my mother, Waree (49) is a trader. Sometimes she helps my dad’s work. Since I and my brother is 12 years difference, I spent most of the time taking care of him since he was born. Until now I’m still sending my brother to school and picking him up almost everyday.

I can describe myself as cheerful, friendly, positive and open-minded person. I’m patient, calm, justice, responsible, honest, active, attentive and motivated. I don’t smoke or drink. I can drive, which I drove since I was 18 years old. If I am free, I usually see movies, listen to music, read some books, clean the house, taking care young brother such as teaching him his homework. I love working with children, I am always happy when I see an increasing of their progress as well as when children are healthy and happy.

Apart from babysitting my small brother, I have experiences in childcare when I was a trainee at Hat Yai hospital for 3 months, and my major duty is about mother and childcare after birth as well as providing them advices on health care. I enjoyed every second bits of the time there helping the mothers and the children. Frankly, I think I have a considerable number of practical knowledge and understanding of children and childcare which I am sure all my knowledge and experiences will be very useful for your family.

The reasons I want to be an aupair are that first I love what I do and I can do it very well. I love what I studied for my degree , which include the basic diagnosis, massage therapy, basic acupuncture, the mother and childcare after giving birth, and I love to be and to work with the children. To me, becoming an aupair is such a golden opportunity to get a lot of experiences aboard, to learn new cultures and at the same time to share my own culture too. I would like to gain life experiences from living aboard becoming a part of a foreign family which I cannot find if I still live in Thailand. Second, I want to travel and see the world so I can broaden my culture horizon. I think living in a new environment from home will improve my social communication skill because I don’t speak their language so I need to be both a good listener and good speaker. Third, I hope that I can become an interpreter in the future so I am more than willing to learn a third language. Finally, I am really looking forward to have and to share a lifetime experience together with your family. : )
