AU PAIR WITH NANNY EXPERIENCED IN DUBAI Dear Host Family: Greetings! It is with great honor and respect that I would like to present myself in application to become an Au pair. My name is Rosie Diaz Barba, 28 years of age, a Filipino hard-working woman with a great passion to serve and care to others. I am the 5th child of 6 siblings in the family with my loving mother and father who reared us to become a passionate loving person. I grow up in the family who are hard- working, flexible and hopeful in life. My mother who used to be engaged in buy and sell venture taught me the value of time and time management., I was able to endure and to look the positive side of the experiences. I continued my basic and secondary school with the dream to finish my college education to help my brothers and sisters and other extended family. I started my higher education in my persistent to apply for a scholarship in one of the Catholic colleges in our province. Yes, I was accepted to be one of the college scholars serving number of hours in the College offices. Aside from my services in the college, I was also working as housekeeper and baby sitter for my extended family member in return to my board and lodging for my daily subsistence. My endurance to all the difficulties and challenges I encountered in my life as a College Student urged me to become more determined to finish my College education. Indeed, I finished my degree on Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Claret College of Isabela as a sign of my self- fulfillment and achievement in life. With this inner disposition, I found myself more inclined to serve and care for others. I developed in me a sense of self value driven and mature Individual willing to venture for more in life. The way I manage my life especially in a challenging and stressful situation made me more a value - oriented person with special skills on housekeeping, caregiving and literacy on computer and bookkeeping. These were some of my experiences in housekeeping and as a baby sitter: my daily routine is that I wake up early in the morning tidying up my bed, after that I prepare the breakfast then when the baby is awake, I prepare her/his to take a bath and feed her after and when the Baby is asleep, I do some light house chores in the afternoon like arranging and organizing things inside the house, washing, dishes, dusting, vacuuming, and washing floor; I do the laundry 3 times a week. And assisting the children to do their home works and school activities. I also learned how to cook and bake, including desert, fish, meat, and vegetables menu. I learned it all when I was in college, I cooked meal for breakfast, fried eggs, soup, and fish. And I also preparing their lunch and dinner meal before I go to school. My extended family task me cooked desert like spaghetti, leche plan, mango float, cookies, salads and other dishes during birthdays and festival Celebrations. also I was able to work as a nanny from a sweet family in Dubai back in 2018 for two years my main task are taking care of the childrens, light house hold chores like cleaning, laundry, doing the groceries and cooking. I also have knowledge in first aid and got my certificate in basic life support training from Philippine Red Cross.
